0.8.0 Open Beta

Current

A major reliability and production update covering bonded streaming, external cameras, scenes, overlays, remote control, and background recovery.

Streaming & reliability

  • Improved SRTLA and RIST bonding, adaptive bitrate, reconnects, live path changes, and cleanup on unstable networks.
  • Hardened RTMP and USB source recovery across disconnects, backgrounding, scene changes, and repeated sessions.
  • Moblink now handles multiple peers more reliably and shows readable satellite names instead of long IDs.

Cameras, DJI & audio

  • Added multi-source PiP scenes, camera-free RTMP/USB scenes, and more reliable rear/selfie camera switching.
  • Improved stabilization, zoom and lens selection, HEVC RTMP ingest, and Bluetooth, DJI, phone, and USB microphone routing.
  • Expanded DJI setup and recovery for Action and Pocket cameras, including real LAN/hotspot address detection and an optional aggressive resolver.

Overlays & controls

  • Added Browser Tabs with up to three interactive sites that can keep alerts and audio running in the background.
  • Chat can be moved, resized, locked, remembered, and displayed with higher-contrast or custom username colors.
  • Added selectable notch-style system stats, minimizable zoom controls, transparent image fixes, and more reliable maps and drawing overlays.

Remote, location & safety

  • Rebuilt browser remote control with phone approval, timed access, stronger reconnects, and safer session cleanup.
  • Reworked location ownership so maps and RTIRL behave better in the background while privacy zones protect shared locations.
  • Added clearer status and error messages, safer settings exports, and broader lifecycle and recovery testing.
